We are seeking an experienced resource to join our 24x7 support engineering team. The candidate is expected to Interact with onshore counterparts for emerging technologies and bringing them to system which will include defining, designing, implementing, and maintaining processes, in a professional consultative project delivery environment.
Responsibilities- The candidate will be accountable for day-to-day firewall management activities, such as those related to incidents, service requests, and change management to ensure end-user requests are handled and addressed within defined SLAs.
- Act as the main contact for GSOC services during shift.
- Ensure all Security Incidents are handled to the required GSOC standards and KPIs.
- Prepare SOP, provide status reports other operational, and maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot connectivity through the firewall, and coordinate with other team’s various department administrators to facilitate connectivity issue resolution.
- Constantly monitor Panorama console for Palo Alto firewall performance problems and provide troubleshooting support for clients. When issues arise, the engineer must analyze the root cause and resolve them promptly or else escalate them to another department while updating clients all throughout.
- Improve and challenge existing processes and procedures in a very agile global and fast-moving security environment.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation of firewall configuration, changes, and incident response procedures. Keep documentation up-to-date.
- Lead in-depth troubleshooting of complex Palo Alto firewall issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats and vulnerabilities. Provide proactive recommendations to enhance firewall security measures.
- Explore and implement automation solutions to streamline routine tasks and improve operation efficiency.
- Minimum Bachler degree in a related field with 4–7 years’ experience in SOC
- Strong ability to solve problems quickly and automate the process.
- Strong understanding of Router, Switch, and Firewalls.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for implementing and maintaining firewall security and service availability throughout the system life cycle.

- Proven Expertise and knowledge in the design, implementation, and support of Palo Alto Firewall globally.
- Primary firewall- Palo Alto (Must), Secondary- ASA/Checkpoint/FortiGate.
- Experience in planning, configuration, and deployment of Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Expert in troubleshooting, implementing, and configuring Panorama, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Should have experience in routing and switching.
