Job Description
Role Summary
KPMG LG is looking for a qualified and experienced Manager to lead and grow its Accounting and Finance Operations Managed Services practice. The role is suited for a candidate with strong consulting firm experience in UAE, a solid understanding of finance and accounting operations, and hands-on experience in outsourcing or managed services delivery.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for driving business development, managing client relationships, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring high-quality execution of finance and accounting outsourcing engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Client Relationship Management
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Accounting and Finance Operations Managed Services in UAE.
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including CFOs, finance directors, business owners, and senior management.
- Lead client discussions, proposal development, commercial negotiations, and presentation of KPMG's managed services offerings.
- Work closely with Partners and Directors to develop market strategies, account plans, and go-to-market propositions.
- Support cross-selling of related services such as CFO support, FP&A, payroll, procurement operations, ERP support, accounting advisory, and finance transformation.
Delivery Leadership
- Lead and supervise the delivery of finance and accounting outsourcing engagements.
- Guide delivery teams in areas such as Accounting and Reporting, Financial statements and consolidation, period closing, FP&A, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, management reporting and payroll accounting.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery in line with agreed service levels and client expectations.
- Review deliverables, resolve technical and operational issues, and provide practical guidance to the team.
- Drive process improvements, standardisation, automation, and efficiency across engagements.
Practice Development
- Support the development of KPMG LG's Accounting and Finance Operations Managed Services practice.
- Help design service offerings, pricing models, delivery structures, operating procedures, and quality control frameworks.
- Contribute to building tools, templates, dashboards, SOPs, and reporting packs for managed services engagements.
- Support recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance development of team members.
- Promote a strong delivery culture focused on quality, accountability, client service, and commercial discipline.
Technical and Operational Oversight
- Apply strong knowledge of accounting standards, finance operations, internal controls, and outsourcing delivery models.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, regulatory, and client-specific requirements.
- Support clients in improving finance processes, controls, reporting timelines, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal KPMG teams including Tax, Audit, Risk, Technology, and Advisory as required.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified accounting professional, such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 to 12 years of relevant experience, preferably with strong exposure to consulting, advisory, outsourcing, or managed services.
- Prior experience with a consulting firm or professional services firm in UAE is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance operations, including financial close, reporting, reconciliations, AP, AR, GL, payroll accounting, and management reporting.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of the UAE market, including client needs, regulatory environment, and finance operating models.
- Experience in leading finance outsourcing, accounting managed services, finance transformation, or shared services engagements.
- Ability to guide and manage delivery teams across multiple clients and workstreams.
- Strong commercial acumen, including proposal preparation, pricing, budgeting, and engagement profitability.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and hands-on approach to resolving delivery challenges.
- Ability to manage senior client stakeholders and internal leadership expectations.
- Experience with ERP systems, accounting platforms, workflow tools, and reporting dashboards will be an advantage.
