KH India GCC Private Limited (KH IGCPL) was incorporated in the year 2017 as a joint venture between Kalashnikov Concern (Russia), Russias largest defence manufacturing enterprise and CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI), Indias premier R&D organization under DST to indigenously design, develop and produce world class Small Arms for Indian & Global markets.
The company has set up its manufacturing facility at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh which is spread over 15 acres of land with an investment outlay of around US$ 6 million. The company has already started production of 9mm Machine Pistol known as Avtomat Kalashnikova or AK-101. The product has been tested by various agencies including Army, Police, Paramilitary forces etc. and well accepted by them. It has also received orders from various countries.
About Job Summary
Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for building data science models and analytics applications, applying predictive modeling and machine learning techniques to business problems.
He/she should have expertise in programming languages like Python and SQL along with proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau. He/She should also possess good communication skills to interact with stakeholders across functions and levels.
About Job Responsibility

• Analyzing large amounts of historical and real time data using statistical methods, algorithms and other analysis techniques to discover trends and patterns.
• Designing, developing and testing models to forecast future events, risks and opportunities.
• Applying advanced analytics techniques to drive decision making.
• Creating automated systems for monitoring performance metrics.
  
• Identifying anomalies and trends in data sets.
• Developing code for prototyping and testing ideas.
• Communicating findings through reports, dashboards, graphs, tables and charts.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Presenting results to management.
  

About Qualification

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Experience in handling large data sets and working knowledge of statistics packages such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn etc.
• Strong background in Statistical Modelling and Data Mining techniques with special emphasis on Machine Learning Algorithms.
• Excellent hands-on experience in Data Visualisation Tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.

• Good understanding of Programming Languages like Python, R, Java etc.
• Working Knowledge of Database Systems, NoSQL DBMS, SQL Server, Oracle etc.
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms AWS, Azure etc.
