Job Description
Responsibilities:
- 2D Asset Creation across multiple stages, from Conception, Origination, Creative Production and adaptation across a variety of asset types from digital stores to digital channels.
- Develop game branding, from game logo to primary key art for titles as required and maintain a master archive in layered, adaptable formats, either from origination or adaptation from an external sources.
- As required, adapt for suitable variants for localisations, platforms, regional/seasonal and game updates, highlighting specific features.
- Stay up to date with trends on competitor art, game discovery trends and visual hooks in game marketing art.
- Work directly with marketing and developers to translate marketing briefs into compelling visuals that are suitable for the channels / purpose that they are intended for.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual style across assets as required by stakeholders and ensure all assets align with the games artistic vision and target audience.
- Stay abreast of best practices and creative trends in the gaming space with regards to optimisation of store visuals.
Requirements:
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and Vector based tools such as Adobe Illustrator.
- Familiarity with AI generative tooling in improvement of workflow efficiency and output.
- Strong understanding of composition, typography, colour theory, and UI/UX principles for conversion.
- Basic understanding of file optimisation for web (compression, formats, sizing).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work to deadlines and handle iterative feedback.
- Ability to take a brief and clearly articulate visual ideas to non-design stakeholders.
