The role

We are hiring a Finance Systems Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The Finance Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the financial systems ecosystem, including but not limited to the ERP system (NetSuite), the ETL tool (FiveTran), the data warehouse (Snowflake), the FP&A systems (Datarails & PowerBI) and the CRM (HubSpot). This role focuses on managing and integrating financial data across systems, ensuring accuracy, enhancing reporting capabilities, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making.

Financial Systems Oversight & Management:

• Lead the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimisation of financial systems, including NetSuite, ETL tools, Snowflake, PowerBI, Datarails and HubSpot.
• Ensure the seamless integration between financial systems to create a unified, accurate, and accessible data flow for financial reporting and analysis.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and new implementations to ensure minimal business disruption and maximum functionality.

System Integration & Data Management:

• Oversee the design and implementation of ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data between NetSuite, Snowflake, and other financial or operational/commercial systems.
• Ensure the effective management of Snowflake, including maintaining database performance, security, and data integrity for financial data storage.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, and other departments to ensure smooth platform integrations, including the CRM (HubSpot) and HR system (Sage People).

Financial Data Strategy & Reporting:

• Lead the strategy and execution of financial data warehousing and reporting through PowerBI, ensuring stakeholders can access real-time, self-service financial insights.
• Collaborate with finance and business leaders to design and implement dashboards, reports, and KPIs, ensuring data is actionable and aligned with business objectives.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by providing accurate and timely data through custom reports and advanced analytics.

Process Improvement & Automation:

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial workflows and processes across systems, minimising manual work and improving efficiency.
• Lead the development and implementation of automated financial reporting and reconciliation processes within NetSuite and across integrated systems.

  Drive process improvements in areas such as revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets management.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Act as the primary liaison between the finance, IT, and business units, ensuring the finance systems strategy aligns with the organisations goals.
• Provide support and training to end-users on NetSuite, PowerBI, and other systems to ensure maximum system utilisation and user adoption.

Data Governance & Compliance:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies across all financial systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Manage system permissions, user roles, and access control within NetSuite, Snowflake, and PowerBI, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support external audits by providing accurate system data, financial reports, and documentation for compliance purposes.

Project Management:

• Lead finance systems projects, including new implementations, system upgrades, and cross-functional integrations, from inception to completion.
• Work closely with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery, on time and within budget.
