India –

• Provide leadership in statistical thinking in all aspects of R&I, including guidance on statistical methods, study designs and interpretation of results. Provide the best solutions and identifying new or improved ways of analyzing data and suggest the best approach for projects/functions/métiers


• Deeply understand India digital ecosystem, build up external network and introduce relevant technology to accelerate innovation

Ø Transfer and adapt to local needs algorithms and tools developed by worldwide AI and scientific computing teams

Ø Identify and develop Scientific computing opportunities for India consumers and researchers.

• 
  Work closely with global Beauty Tech team to realize the global strategy, collaborate closely at zone level


• Resolve difficult issues from emerging new business, and proactively involve into new method development

Global level –

§ Implement in India the good practice of tool decided by the global team

§ Share the knowledge and concerns with the Global SC team during the regular meetings for the exchange and collaborative interaction

• Masters in Statistics/biostatistics, Engineering / Masters in Data Sciences or equivalent qualifications

  At least 3-6 years of experience working as a statistician within the Analytics consultancy / Pharma industry or Agronomy industry


• Experience of programming in R / Python with development of standalone packages which can be published on the IT enabled platforms


• Exploratory statistical analysis (PCA, FDA, PLS)


• Well-versed in confirmatory analysis: mixed models, logistical and longitudinal models, survival analysis, statistical tests (parametric and non-parametric)


• Additional skills in confirmatory analysis (bayesian inference)


• Experience in Clinical studies


• DOE (screening, quantitative studies, optimization and mixture)


• Experience with a broad range of statistical / computation methods and tasks (Inferential Statistics / Statistical Modelling)

• Good in communication and presentation including ability to explain diverse topics with relative ease


• Have Cross-cultural functioning approach


• Proactive and solution oriented


• Having the ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously and independently


• Fluent in written and spoken English


• Great communicator. Able to convince, understand the needs, discuss statistical findings while implementing the protocol and enhancing the statistical process

The role needs to takes initiative and assists in solving demanding tasks and the role requires an independent, committed, detail and result oriented person. Analytical skills and a high focus on quality are important.
