Assistant Manager - Railway System

Larsen and Toubro Limited was awarded the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project by the then Government of Andhra Pradesh. L&T incorporated a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) - L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (The Company) to implement the Project on Design, Built, Finance Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The Hyderabad Metro Rail is the worlds largest metro project in public-private partnership mode. It covers 69.2 km across three corridors, transforming Hyderabad, triggering robust economic activity around the city.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Chief Maintenance Manager: Provide daily assistance in technical reviews, report analysis, and planning-related activities.

• Railway Systems Oversight: Experience in any one system (MEP/PSS/RST.) in metro domain.

• Monthly/Annual Maintenance Planning: Lead the formulation and tracking of Annual Maintenance Plans, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

• 
  Monthly Reports: Compile and analyze Monthly Maintenance Reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, challenges, and achievements.

• Budgeting & Cost Tracking: Assist in budget preparation, cost estimation, and financial tracking of maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.

• Interface Management: Coordinate with internal departments (O&M, Projects, Procurement, Finance, etc.) & external parties

• Documentation & Communication: Maintain proper documentation, prepare presentations/reports for review meetings, and facilitate smooth communication between the CMM and other teams.

  Audit & Compliance: Support audits (internal and external) by ensuring timely availability of relevant documents and data.

Qualifications - B. Tech (Mechanical/Electrical) + MBA, with minimum 5 years experience

Required Functional Competencies

• Technical Experience in any one railway systems in metro domain such as MEP.
• Strong knowledge in budgeting and planning
• Liaison with stake holders and prepare reports, documents, presentations, etc.
