Asset Lifecycle Management Intern

About our group:

Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) team has the mission to govern, manage and provide transparency of all Seagates Assets through every stage of the Asset Management Lifecycle (Planning, Acquisition, Deployment, Operate & Maintain and Retirement).

About the role - you will:

. Perform data engineering tasks to prepare data for advanced data analytics and visualization to drive decision-making

. Partner with business users to co-design impactful visual, interactive dashboards and reports with technologies such as Tableau, PowerBI or others .

About you:

. Self-motivated and independent worker and learner

. Up to date knowledge on latest Data analytics software and tools

. Possess a Can-do attitude, willing to learn and is perpetually curious

Your experience includes:

. Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Data Analytics / Computer Science / Software Engineering

. Knowledge and proficiency in Data Science/Engineering with prior experience in related softwares and tools (KNIME, Alteryx, Python, Power Query,etc.).

. Trained and had practical experience in data visualization softwares (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

. Highly proficient user of Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, Charts, etc.), good knowledge of Smartsheets, Power Automate and other productivity tools

. Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

. Sensitive to data, possess a strong learning ability, strong logical and analytical capabilities, and project execution skills, and good communication skills with team members and key stakeholders

. Have prior experience or keen in leading data-driven projects from definition to execution: defining metrics, capturing boundary conditions, communicating actionable insights

. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and responsible

. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

. Strong execution skills with attention to details.

The Shugart site (named after Seagates founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center.
