Finance Controller - Startup

Roles & responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and long-term plans aligned with business goals.
2. Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and audits.
3. Monitor budgets, analyze variances, and drive cost optimisation initiatives.
4. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk mitigation strategies.
5. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial operations.

7. Provide data-driven insights and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
8. Manage relationships with external stakeholders including investors, banks, and auditors.
What are we looking for?
- CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification; MBA in Finance preferred.
- Proven financial leadership experience, ideally in startups or high-growth environments.
- Strong expertise in accounting principles, financial systems, and compliance frameworks.
- Proficient in financial modeling, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
