Job Description
- The Architecture Intern will support the Architecture team by exploring and detailing design approaches and solutions across retail design, roll-outs, brand experience, and point-of-sale retail. You will assist in maintaining Landor's vision and creative beliefs by crafting and delivering great ideas expertly and beautifully with rigor and flair.
You will be responsible for creative conceptualization, collaborating with Project Directors, Project Managers, and Technical Designers to enhance design concepts through detailed drawing packages and material boards that suit site conditions. Working in a multidisciplinary approach, you will engage with various design teams and consultants to bring our clients" stories to life. Additionally, you will translate design concepts into finalized documents for execution and work closely with vendors to advise on material procurement and fixtures, ensuring a seamless handover process with all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and basic understanding of Revit is required, and familiarity with Twinmotion and other rendering software is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, coupled with a proactive and can-do attitude, will be valuable in this role. The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment is crucial, and prior internship or relevant work experience will be advantageous.
