Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Laptop Service Engineer (Card Level / Chiplevel )to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining laptops and related components to ensure top-notch performance. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:
- Laptop Diagnosis & Repair:
- Diagnose hardware and software issues with laptops (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, Apple, Asus, etc.).
- Repair or replace faulty laptop parts, including screens, motherboards, batteries, keyboards, etc.
- Perform OS installations, software updates, and system recovery.
- Technical Support:
- Provide on-site and remote support to customers, ensuring timely resolution of service requests.
- Communicate effectively with customers about technical issues and repair processes.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on laptops, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Perform cleaning, software updates, and hardware diagnostics as part of regular servicing.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed service records for each laptop, including issues faced, parts replaced, and repairs completed.
- Report any inventory needs or spare part requirements to the inventory manager.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing professional and efficient service.
- Follow up with customers to ensure that the issue has been resolved to their satisfaction.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of laptop hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software.
- Hands-on experience with common laptop brands and components.
- Problem-Solving:
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Time Management:
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple repair requests efficiently.
- Communication Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction.
- Attention to Detail:
- Ability to provide accurate diagnoses and repairs with high attention to detail.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in laptop servicing and repair.
