Hardware Design Engineer

L&T Technology Services is looking for candidates in Bangalore/Mysuru location for the role of Hardware Design Engineer.

Job description:

Experience: 4-9 years

Notice period: Immediate to 60 days

Location: Mysuru

Mandate skills: Mixed-Signal systems, Board Design, Digital circuit design, EMI/EMC Testing

• Prior experience in board design through full development life cycle and configuration management for managing associated documentation (BOMs, schematics, drawings etc.)
• Hands-on experience on test & measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal generators, logic analysers, spectrum analysers etc.
• Strong board design skills with experience in Mixed-Signal systems, High speed serial interfaces, microprocessor subsystems, FPGA based design, signal integrity and power distribution design concepts
• Strong in the typical data and control interfaces. Examples include UART, USB, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, SDIO, PCIe, etc.

• Familiar with the Analog, Mixed-Signal systems, Digital interfaces and related HW design methodologies.
• Familiarity with the typical digital video, audio and other multimedia interfaces. Examples include HDMI, DisplayPort, MIPI DSI/CSI, I2S, TDM etc. will have an added advantage.
• Familiarity with the typical wireless interfaces. Examples include WiFi, BTLE, Zigbee etc will have an added advantage
• Solid hands on experience in review of Schematic capture tools like Mentor Graphics, Altium, PADS etc.
• Hands on experience on board bring-up, functional and various interface testing
• Familiar with EMI/EMC pre-compliance and compliance testing and troubleshooting
• Able to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with internal, global and client teams.
