Job Description

As a Senior Branch Manager at a leading Retail Bank in Mumbai, you will be responsible for overseeing the branch's operations and sales activities. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the profitability and maintaining high-quality portfolios in line with company norms and processes.

Your key responsibilities will include managing the sales, operations, and administration of the branches in Mumbai. You will be tasked with building a high-quality portfolio, achieving targeted goals, and maintaining branch productivity. Additionally, you will need to ensure that each branch has sufficient manpower to achieve desired results and provide guidance to Branch Managers and Cluster Managers to meet targets.
Field visits with branch team members will be essential to support sourcing and collection efforts. You will also be responsible for driving sales team performance, fostering teamwork, and facilitating high performance among team members. Compliance with all regulatory policies and processes, including those of the RBI and other statutory bodies, will be crucial.

To excel in this role, you should have 5-15 years of experience in private commercial banks or large financial institutions, with a background in sales and collection functions, especially in areas like Housing Finance, Loan against Property, or Business Loans. Proficiency in Hindi and English, as well as basic Microsoft Office skills, are required.
Ideally, you should hold a graduate degree in any stream, with an MBA being preferred. Professional qualifications at the graduate level or above, along with relevant certifications, will be advantageous. Your ability to train team members on products and processes will be essential to drive success in this role.,
