We are seeking an experienced sales leader to join IN - NOVATEUR ELECTRICAL & DIGITAL SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED (NEDS) as an Area Manager in the L7 - IN - INDOASIAN - Trade Sales department. In this role, you will oversee and drive the sales strategy for our retail products, ensuring strong relationships with channel partners and dealers. Your expertise will be crucial in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing retail sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for channel sales, targeting dealers and distributors effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities for our low-voltage switchgear and wiring device products.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional campaigns and ensure product availability.
  • Monitor sales performance, provide regular reports, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional and ethical sales environment.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and customer needs, providing valuable insights to the team.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record in retail sales.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in sales strategies, including channel sales and dealer management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of the electrical industry, particularly low-voltage switchgear and wiring devices, is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business purposes.
