Senior Accountant

Job Title: Accountant
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: 20,000.00 - 25,000.00 per month
Location: Faridabad, Haryana
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, Weekend availability
Education: Bachelors
Experience: Accounting - 1 to3 years
Ability to Relocate: VKI, Jaipur
Responsibilities

• Manage the overall accounting function of the company, including financial reporting, auditing financial statements, bookkeeping, taxation, compliance, and providing financial advice.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure all financial transactions are recorded properly.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements like income statement, balance sheet, etc.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  
• Review the companys systems and analyze risk.
• Handle all tax compliance, including filing tax returns and computing tax liabilities.
• Advise on tax planning and ensure tax optimization.
• Interact with external statutory auditors for the annual audit process.
• Oversee cash flow management and bank-related activities.
• Forecast and monitor budgets, profits, and losses.
• Handle compliances with Indian laws.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Provide counsel on areas of business improvement or dealing with insolvency.
• Manage junior colleagues.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers.

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and finance functions.
• Experience working in the garment industry is a plus.
• Expertise in Tally/ERP systems, MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards.
• Hands-on experience in corporate and indirect taxation.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and Hindi.
