Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager - Retail Operations to lead and oversee our retail business operations across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of retail management, and expertise in Pharma, Beauty, Nutrition and related product segments. You will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, sales growth, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective retail strategies to achieve business goals.
- Lead and manage all retail operations including sales, inventory, merchandising, and customer service.
- Oversee store performance, optimize sales, and ensure excellent customer experience.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to drive operational excellence.

- Building & maintaining healthy business relations with major clients, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction in an expressive manner.
- Build, motivate, and mentor a high-performing retail team.
- Leading integrated marketing campaigns (ATL/BTL) to strengthen brand visibility, enhance customer engagement, and drive sales upliftment; tailoring promotions and pricing strategies based on consumer behavior insights.
- Achieve targeted revenue and LFL growth across all discount/value stores.
- Improve store productivity through optimized promotions and pricing.
- Design and execute high-impact promotional calendars.
- Ensure store-level compliance and accurate execution
- Leverage insights to refine promotions and assortment.
- Track competitor moves in discount/value segment.
- Responsible for business development, optimum manpower planning, inventory management and budgeting.

- Lead, guide and evaluate the performance of Area Managers, Cluster Managers and Store Manager
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in retail operations management, preferably in pharma, health, or beauty sectors.
- Proven track record of managing multi-store operations in value format, (discounts and promotions ) mandatory.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
