Elevation Capital - Lead - Production & Supply - IIT/NIT

This role is with one of our portfolio companies.

Role Overview:
As Production and Supply Lead, you will lead all production operations across our partner factories in India (and occasional work with China). This role is equal parts operations, vendor management, and team leadership-ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple stakeholders, and ensures high-quality production on time and within budget. You will report to Co-founder.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Factory Management (80% of the role):
- Lead a team of 10: production managers, technical managers and Quality executives

- Own production planning and execution across our partner factories in India.
- Manage quality, timelines, and cost-effectiveness for all products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing factories and evaluate new partners.
- Collaborate with the founders and marketing team on monthly supply and demand planning.
- Travel to partner factories once a month to ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot issues.
Strategic Initiatives (20% of the role):
- Drive process improvements in production and vendor management.
- Support strategic decisions around scaling production, factory onboarding, and capacity planning.
- Implement dashboards and performance metrics to track production efficiency and quality.
What We're Looking For:
- 6-10 years of experience managing operations in own manufacturing/3rd party manufacturing
- Educated from top-tier Engineering or MBA Schools
- Past experience in managing 10+ team members
- Strong operator mindset: you thrive in operationally heavy roles and can get things done efficiently.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Passion for consumer brands, culture, and product-led growth is a bonus.
