Job Description
Job Summary: As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling complex technical products and services to our ISP clients, understanding their technical requirements, and providing effective solutions. You will act as a liaison between the sales team and engineering departments, ensuring that ISP needs are met while maximizing sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Work with your sales team to identify and develop sales opportunities by understanding our ISP needs and offering technical solutions.
- You will be responsible for leading the execution of proof of concept (POC) projects to demonstrate the feasibility and value of our products or solutions to perspective ISP’s.
- Create ISP centric product slideware and conduct technical presentations up to C-Level audiences.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including product selection, customization, and implementation.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotes, and bids in response to customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Provide post-sales support and address customer concerns or issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote company products and services.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. (Masters degree preferred)
- Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role, preferably in the [industry/sector].
- Strong understanding of technical products and solutions, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.

- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Technical certifications or training in relevant technologies.
- ACS (TR-69) experience, TR-369 and TR-181 experience a plus
- Familiarity with [specific industry standards or regulations].
- Multilingual proficiency (depending on the target market).
