Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to serve as a strategic partner in navigating the complex landscape of employment and corporate law. In this role, you will act as the primary advisor to senior leadership, providing expert counsel on labor regulations, workforce management, and high-stakes corporate compliance.
You will collaborate closely with HR, executive teams, and external stakeholders to mitigate legal risks while enabling business growth. Your work will directly influence the company's operational framework, ensuring that all organizational practices align with evolving statutory requirements and internal governance standards, ultimately safeguarding the firm's reputation and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end management of employment law matters, including drafting and negotiating complex employment contracts and separation agreements to protect organizational interests.
- Provide actionable legal guidance on labor laws and industrial relations to HR leadership, ensuring seamless compliance across diverse regional jurisdictions.
- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of NDAs and restrictive covenants to secure intellectual property and maintain competitive advantage.
- Manage corporate litigation and dispute resolution processes by coordinating with external counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for the business.
- Develop and implement robust internal policies and training programs to foster a culture of compliance and ethical conduct across all departments.

- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and applying complex labor and employment statutes within a corporate environment, ensuring the business remains ahead of regulatory shifts.
- Proven ability to communicate intricate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong track record of managing high-stakes negotiations and drafting sophisticated legal documentation, including NDAs and corporate governance instruments.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the agility to navigate ambiguous legal scenarios in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Bangalore or Pune.
- Holds a degree in Law (LL.B. or LL.M.) from a premier institution, complemented by 13-16 years of progressive experience in corporate legal departments or top-tier law firms.
