About the Job:
Reporting to our VP of Business Development, this role requires a driven individual who is able to evangelize and take our Audience Engagement Suite to new markets. As a Sales Development Representative, you will help us develop our sales process whilst understanding the key business challenges our product and services solve. You will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact. Your role will be primarily focused on researching the Target Accounts in your territory and performing outreach through emails, calls, and social media.
Missions & responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Sales Team to grow a specific sales territory and/or to follow the established strategy
- Researching and evaluating additional leads/prospects through web research (Scrapping and database improvements)
- Reaching out to leads/prospects, using different methods (cold calling, emails, Social Media prospecting)
- Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
- Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
- Set appointments for sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
- Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle

- Cold call into prospects generated by variety of outside sources
- Prospect new verticals, FDM's and create target lists
- Scheduling and partially managing initial prospecting meetings, depending on the lead.
- Providing in-depth information to the Sales team to enable the most qualified and productive demos
- Following up on some inbound requests and providing appropriate information to foster lead relationships
- Improving the visibility of the BD activity to the other verticals in the organization.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, market research, financial services, consulting, business development, investment banking or client success.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing or telemarketing.
- Experience with sales tools
- Proven track record for articulating a product/service and building rapport with prospects.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation
- Self-motivated, tenacious, confident, independent and strong attention to detail.
- Schedule appointments, demos and introduce leads to their new Account Executive or Sales Director.
