A. Day-to-Day Ownership
Own capex planning and approvals:
- New stores
- Refurbishments
- Format changes
- Store closures
- Track store-level economics:
- Sales, contribution, EBITDA
- Payback and breakeven timelines
Monitor retail Opex:
- Rent, manpower, utilities, local marketing
- Perform cohort analysis of stores:
- Month 1-24 ramp
- Underperformers vs plan

Support decisions on:
- Store openings
- Closures
- Format resets
B. Key Analyses & Outputs
- Store payback dashboards
- Capex utilisation reports
- Cohort performance curves
- Opex efficiency benchmarks
- Retail ROI and sensitivity analysis
C. Stakeholder Interactions
- Retail business heads
- Expansion & real estate teams

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- CA / MBA / Cost Accountant / CWA/CFA/ CA with 3-4 years of experience in Retail Finance, Capex Finance, or Business Finance
- Strong understanding of store-level P&L, capex economics, payback analysis, and retail operating models
- Experience working with multi-store or large-format retail businesses preferred
- Sound knowledge of capital budgeting, ROI analysis, and cohort-based performance tracking
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, particularly for payback and sensitivity analysis
- Ability to partner effectively with retail, operations, and expansion teams
- Highly organised, execution-focused, and comfortable managing multiple store-level initiatives in parallel
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver time-sensitive analysis for investment decisions
