Job Description

Key accountabilities

Assist in preparation of MSP annual budget and spend forecast

Raise, amend and receipting of purchase orders for Tech service providers

Verify all invoices ensuring charges are in line with relevant contract / Work Order

Dispute and query management for any challenges to invoiced charges

Detailed review of supporting data provided by the MSP

Create summarized service reports from data provided by MSP for Refinitiv stakeholders

Track invoices for compliance for timely receipting, invoices have been raised & in line with the PO / work orders

Run / obtain transactional reports to capture the booked costs & to use the same report to identify missing transactions / lines.

Track actuals vs forecasts to enable accurate run rate reporting & provide reporting on financial performance of the contracted services.

Work closely with Refinitiv service stakeholder teams to maintain financial forecasts and outlooks

Lead on the financial update in monthly review calls

Reporting to the Infrastructure & cloud team and key member of Technology Finance Team in providing in depth analysis of Tech costs & variability.

Responsible for managing variety of Technology Finance activity of one / more of the Key Managed Service Provider (MSP) and other technology service providers

Proficient in formulating and interpreting Financial, MIS reports & other statements with a view to apprise management of the business operations and potential decision making

Deliver data and information aligned to operating SLA’s including SLA credits

Reviewing the Commercials and finalizing the amendments with the Vendor through colleagues from VM team

Assist management in any ad-hoc reporting / presentation needs from time to time.

Knowledge & Skill

Mid-level professional with knowledge in a technical discipline or specialization

Position for a developing professional building experience in their specialist function

Good understanding of roles of relevant functional groups in own area

Suggests process improvement following investigative, analytic or diagnostic services.

Decisions involve interpretation of data, planning own work, or refining the methods and techniques to be used

Assist other colleagues in day to day tracking of events both financial & obligatory (contract stand point) tasks for effective management of vendor relationship.

Be an effective team player by backing other members of the team when necessary

Provide reporting relating to performance of the Financial aspects of the contracted services

Summarize service reporting provided by vendors

Deliver ad hoc reporting as required to support the function overall
