- Work closely with other designers and cross-functionally with UX, engineering, and product management on the design and implementation of new game features.
- Design and lead the implementation of fun, engaging in-game events and other game content.
- Create clear and complete game design documentation for game content and features.
- Assess and apply qualitative and quantitative feedback to improve game design and balance.
- Work closely with product managers, producers, engineers and artists to design and prototype new gameplay and systems.
- Be the advocate of good design practices across the studio.
- Identify process improvements where needed and work with the team to drive the implementation of the process improvements.
- 3+ years experience in mobile game design, including at least one year on a game in live ops.
- Deep understanding of games and what makes them fun, both as gamer and a professional.
- Experience building in-game content designed to appeal to a specific audience.
- Strong understanding or interest in online multiplayer games.
- Deep understanding of basic economy balance and tuning.
- Experience writing clear and concise specs, user flows, and feature documentation.
- Solid knowledge of free-to-play games in general and the puzzle genre in greater detail.
- Proactively identify issues with product or processes and collaborate with team to solve them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Passion for games and the entertainment industry.
