Job Description
Purpose of this position
The Principal serves as the chief administrator of the school, responsible for managing all operational aspects, including academic leadership, staff supervision, student discipline, alumni relations, community relations, and financial oversight. The role is centered around fostering a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment that promotes high student achievement and professional growth for staff.
Responsibilities
1. Academic LeadershipOversee curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitor teaching practices and support instructional improvement.
Analyze student performance data and implement strategies for improvement.
Foster a culture of academic excellence and continuous learning.
2. Staff Supervision and DevelopmentHire, train, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings and professional development workshops.
Encourage mentorship and career advancement for faculty and staff.
Ensure compliance with teacher certification and licensure requirements.
3. Student Support and DisciplinePromote a safe, respectful, and supportive school climate.
Oversee student behavior management and disciplinary policies.
Support student services including counseling, special education, and extracurricular programs.
Encourage student leadership, participation, and well-being.
4. Administration and OperationsManage daily school operations and routines efficiently.
Oversee scheduling, record-keeping, and school documentation.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and education laws and policies.
Maintain school facilities and coordinate maintenance or improvements.
5. Communication and Community EngagementServe as a liaison between the school, families, and the broader community.
Facilitate communication through newsletters, meetings, and digital platforms.
Promote partnerships with local community, organizations, and stakeholders.
Represent the school at district and public events.
6. Budgeting and Resource ManagementPrepare and manage the schools annual budget.
Allocate resources effectively to meet instructional and operational needs.
Pursue funding opportunities, grants, and community support.

Qualifications
Masters Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
Experience: Minimum of 10 years teaching experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Leadership : Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in educational technology and data-driven instruction
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within the education industry.
Experience with project management and cross-functional team coordination.
Familiarity with budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation in an educational environment.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for improving educational outcomes through efficient operations
