About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting and analyzing complex data sets to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that will drive informed business decisions. Understand client data needs, develop analytical solutions, and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Your role will involve working with large volumes of data, employing statistical techniques, and utilizing data visualization tools to communicate results effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

•  Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze large datasets using statistical methods, data mining techniques, and predictive modeling to identify patterns and trends.
• Interpret and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations.

• Collaborate with business teams to understand their objectives and translate them into analytical requirements.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and present data-driven recommendations to improve business processes, optimize performance, and drive growth.

Data Visualization and Reporting:

• Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, charts, and reports to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
• Utilize data visualization tools (e.g.,Tableau, Power BI) to present insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Automate reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information. 

Data Quality and Governance:

• Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing data cleansing and validation techniques.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to establish data governance practices and standards.
• Monitor and maintain data repositories, ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Continuous Improvement and Technical Development:

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis.

• Actively participate in professional development activities, such as training, workshops, and conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex and large datasets.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI and Advanced Excel
• Familiarity with statistical techniques, data mining algorithms, and predictive modeling.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices is a plus.
• Experience in working with business intelligence systems or data warehousing is desirable.
• Prior experience in a data analysis role or similar field is preferred.
