Also, responsibilities would include handling statutory audits, tax and compliance

Responsibilities:

Handle quarterly certification working with statutory auditors on compliance of Payment Aggregator license (‘PA License’) which includes monitoring of escrow bank account, collections from users and settlement to Merchants

Handle annual certification with statutory auditors on compliance with PA license obligations including monitoring of net worth, timeline for payment to merchants and escrow bank accounts

Close books and handle financial reporting including preparation of month close profit and loss account, prepare journal entries and flux analysis

Handle tax compliance including handling withholding tax returns/ payments, GST returns and compliance

Work with internal and external stakeholders for new product launches and compliance with various regulations

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in accounting

Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and procedures

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
