Job Description
- As an SAP Authorization Specialist, you will work in a team responsible for security authorization and governance across a diverse landscape of SAP systems. Your role involves designing, developing, operating, and governing SAP security and authorizations. You will be responsible for developing standard operating procedures and guidelines, acting as a central point of contact for SAP security-related topics, and evaluating business requirements to provide implementation solutions.
Your tasks include developing access and authorizations within a release and change management framework, maintaining access products for compliance and timely provisioning throughout the SAP landscape, monitoring and resolving incidents related to SAP security, and providing extended support during upgrade, go-live, and hypercare periods. Additionally, you will evaluate risks and implement controls to enhance the security of the SAP system landscape and assist in audit reviews for Business and IT.
The team's key responsibilities include developing and maintaining access and authorizations for various SAP components such as ABAP, BW, Fiori, HANA, JAVA, BPC, BusinessObjects Analysis, Solution Manager, and SAP ChaRM. You will also maintain users and roles in an SAP Central User Administration system, establish and maintain cybersecurity controls, advise on Segregation of Duties controls framework, and use ServiceNow for change, incident, task, and access request management.

To excel in this role, you should possess very good knowledge and experience in security concepts, strong analytical skills, motivation to learn new technologies, self-motivation, creativity, and passion for SAP security. Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, fluency in English (written and spoken), and a collaborative team-player attitude are essential. Mandatory skills include SAP BPC Security, SAP GRC AC-PC, SAP Security Projects (Implementation-Upgrade-Rollouts), and SAP Security Support across various SAP modules like ECC, BI, HR, CRM, S/4HANA, and Fiori.,
