Informatica Data Quality & Metadata Developer

Role Summary

The Informatica Data Quality & Metadata Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise grade data quality and metadata management solutions using the Informatica ecosystem. The role focuses on profiling, cleansing, standardization, rule management, metadata discovery, and governance enablement across on prem and cloud platforms, aligned with enterprise data governance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Quality (Primary Focus – Informatica IDQ / IDMC DQ)
• 
  Design and develop data profiling, data quality rules, scorecards, and exception handling using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and IDMC Data Quality.
• Implement data standardization, cleansing, matching, and de duplication logic across critical data domains.
• Develop reusable DQ frameworks and parameterized rules to support scalability and consistency.
• Configure DQ metrics, thresholds, and dashboards to support ongoing monitoring and remediation.
• Support root cause analysis and collaborate with data owners and stewards on issue resolution.
• Metadata & Governance Enablement (Secondary Focus – AXON, EDC)::
• Implement and configure Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) scanners for structured and semi structured data sources.
• Integrate EDC with AXON Data Governance to enable end to end lineage, glossary linkage, and policy association.

• Support business glossary onboarding, term curation, lineage validation, and impact analysis.
• Enable technical to business metadata mapping to support governance, compliance, and self service analytics.

Collaboration & Delivery::

• Work closely with data architects, governance leads, data stewards, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to design documentation, technical standards, and best practices.
• Support UAT, production deployment, and post go live stabilization.
