PURPOSE OF POSITION

To Manage the overall responsibility for all MHC Finance related activities for India Business. The role is intended to provide Finance support to the growing and expanding India business.

To ensure that financial processes and business is run in accordance with corporate rules, local legislations and Mölnlycke Health Care standards.

To Revamp and strengthen current processes to ensure adequate internal controls and compliance with MHC policies

To Provide business partnering support to ensure success of growth & investments plans

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Controlling

Be responsible for and drive the Financial Accounting Closing and Statutory Compliances for India entity

• Coordinate with local accounting service provider to ensure accurate closing of books
  


• Lead all statutory matters including audits, taxation, transfer pricing & corporate secretarial matters for India with support from our local consultant


• Prepare/ review of journal entries in day to day business affairs as well as account reconciliations (with support from local consultant)


• Prepare and distribute management reports on a monthly basis


• Ensure adequate working capital management including managing AR/ AP and inventory


• Drive process improvement projects to execute best practice

Business Partnering

Provide financial support to the business to ensure success of growth and expansion plans

• Proactively drive business performance through supporting management team with analytics and business cases.


• Ensure pricing excellence in the market in order to meet financial objectives and leverage pricing impact.


• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for India


• Manage India Sales Incentives process


• Continuously evaluate, drive the implementation and continuous measure/follow-up of Key Performance Indicators, both leading and lagging. Implement Dashboards in order to increase business awareness/acumen


• Prepare and distribute management reports on a monthly basis


• Analyze and act on financial information in order to initiate and take corrective actions to meet financial objectives

• Drive and execute internal control processes in India


• Identify gaps as per global guidance & implement industry best practices


• Review and process expense / HCP claims in accordance with MHC policy and SOPs.


• Ensure appointment and review of dealers / distributors is in compliance with MHC policy

Manage, and participate in local, regional and global projects as & when required

Support other functions like HR / IT / Supply Chain / RA from a local contact point of view

CAPABILITIES; QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Chartered Accountant with minimum 6 to 8 years' experience working in financial management positions.

Knowledge of IFRS and India compliance requirements

Strong business partnering profile Experience in life science industry is a plus

Proficiency in Excel & Tally is a must. Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage

Fluent in English, Computer literate, Power Bl skills a plus
