Job Description

Project: This is an opportunity to work within a PMO team on a large mixed-use residential lead masterplan in Abu Dhabi. The masterplan development will also hold hotels, retail, and commercial units.
Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Conducting feasibility studies, and business cases and writing procurement reports.
- Applying value management techniques at the outset of a project.
- Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan.
- Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including prequalification, inquiry, analysis, selection, and contract preparation are performed effectively.
- Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively.
- Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively.
- Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.
- Attending meetings and active participation.
- Value engineering and life cycle costing.

- Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed upon.
- Being a key interface with clients and other consultants, at all project stages.
- Marketing and business development duties, particularly in your sector of experience including being mindful of the need to support the consultancy team in promoting Mace in the region.
- Providing line management and overseeing recruitment.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
