Role: Specialist - Growth/Pre-Sales
About the Role
We're seeking a technically inclined Pre-Sales Specialist to partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering in driving technical discovery, solutioning, and demos for our prospects. You'll play a vital role in engaging prospective clients, understanding their use cases at a system and data level, and configuring product demos to reflect real-world workflows.
You'll also serve as a key interface between business and product/engineering, ensuring all client-facing conversations are backed with a strong understanding of platform architecture, APIs, and integration requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Discovery & Architecture Alignment
- Participate in technical discovery sessions to capture client requirements across loan origination, onboarding, rule configuration, and credit workflows.
- Map client pain points to product capabilities, highlighting technical feasibility and configuration paths.
- Analyze third-party integration needs (e.g., credit bureau APIs, KYC providers, core banking systems).
- Deliver highly customized product demos including API walkthroughs, journey flows, and backend configuration tools.
- Set up demo environments that reflect client-specific data models, decisioning rules, and lending workflows.
- Support proof-of-concept (POC) creation and hand-hold clients through sandbox environments.
- Product Feedback & Technical Handoff
- Capture technical blockers, custom requirements, and feature gaps from pre-sales conversations and feed them to product/engineering in a structured format.
- Collaborate with solution architects and product managers to align prospect expectations with product roadmap and delivery timelines.
- Ensure smooth technical handoff post-sale to implementation and onboarding teams.
- Sales & Tech Collateral Support
- Create and maintain solution architecture diagrams, API guides, demo scripts, and integration FAQs.
- Maintain technical pre-sales documentation, solution templates, and internal playbooks for repeatable use cases.
- Work with marketing to build technical collaterals (whitepapers, integration briefs, demo videos).

Must-Haves:
- Experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions consulting, product consulting, or solution engineering role.
- Experience with SaaS platforms-preferably in fintech, financial services, or workflow automation.
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON, Postman, API testing, or integration walkthroughs.
- Ability to understand and explain complex product flows (KYC, origination, underwriting, rule engines).
- Strong problem-solving, client communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Exposure to LOS, LMS, decisioning engines, or embedded finance platforms.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, compliance, integrations).
- Knowledge of regulatory considerations in lending workflows (RBI guidelines, KYC norms, etc.).
- Comfortable working with sandbox/staging environments to simulate product behavior.
- Experience working with global lending markets (EMEA,ASEAN,GCC,Africa or North America).
