Driver Cum Salesman (HoReCa Sector)

Job Purpose

The Route Sales Representative (RSR) will be responsible for driving the delivery truck (3 to 12 ton) in the course of day that will include selling the full range of products offered in all categories of the bottled water business. This will require the ability to lift cartons of water off the truck and deliver them to the customer’s location either by hand or via a trolley.

The ability to operate a Route Delivery Truck (3 to 12 tons) in a safe manner.

The physical ability to work in hot weather while lifting heavy weight.

Good knowledge of UAE roads.

To achieve monthly & yearly budget in terms of volume & revenue.

The position requires work to be done during public holidays and weekends as per operational and business continuity requirements with eligibility for overtime as per local employment law.

The job requires the employee to report at work by 7:00AM and to be in the market by 9:00AM or as directed by the Line Manager.

Check the truck stock in the morning before leaving the warehouse, physical truck stock must tally with the system stock, there must not be any difference in Volume or SKU wise.

The physical ability to work in hot weather while lifting between 200 and 450 bottles/cartons per day, six days per week.

Need to maintain Pallet Log Sheet on daily basis, ensure return of same quantity of pallets taken in the morning, without any discrepancy.

Visit customers and deliver the products depending on route size assigned by the Line Manager (LM).

Accurate invoicing as per company and sales policy.

Ensure correct pricing to customers based on contractual agreements or special approvals from the management.

FOC’s to be issued strictly in compliance with company and sales policy

Have the ability to open and sell to new customers as well as existing customers. Collection for all sales transactions as applicable.

RSR will be responsible for reporting truck damage and accidents with police report. RSR need to check the truck registration and Dubai Municipality Card availability in trucks and expiry date.

RSR need to maintain vehicle log sheet on daily basis. All RSR must

use Drivers identification key

Responsible for proper usage of company assets like chillers, grocery pallets, and parasols, to be used as directed by LM

Prepare a daily/monthly visit reports

Update his LM weekly/monthly competitors reports

Follow the workplace safety and health instructions and procedures

Report any injury, illness, unsafe acts or conditions immediately
