About The Function
The Marketing function at MakeMyTrip is responsible for driving demand, strengthening brand equity, and building long-term customer relationships across all lines of business. The function brings together brand, performance, partnerships, and product marketing to ensure every customer interaction with MakeMyTrip is consistent, compelling, and conversion-led across channels and customer journeys.
Within the Marketing function, the Banking Alliances & Partnerships Team forges high impact relationships with banks, networks, other financial services players and cross functional brands. Some of the key focus areas are driving repeat purchase at a reduced cost via co-funded marketing offers, driving incremental bookings by leveraging partners user base though affiliate integrations, driving loyalty via co-branded product portfolio and identifying opportunities for partner investments on Go-MMT to reduce the overall cost of business for the organization.
About The Role
As a Deputy Manager/Manager in MMTs Banking Alliances & Partnerships team, you will help build strategic partnerships that strengthen customer value propositions and drive business growth. This role sits within the Marketing function and focuses on developing collaborations with banks, payment networks, financial-services institutions, and relevant brand partners.
You will identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities, manage and deepen existing relationships, and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact campaigns and repeat business. The ideal candidate combines strong relationship-management skills with commercial acumen and a bias for execution.

What Will You Be Doing

• Identify innovative areas of partnerships with banks, networks, NBFCs and Fintech players to close higher on-platform investments, acquire new users & drive repeat bookings for MakeMyTrip and Goibibo.
• Own end-to-end relationship with the key partners and build trust and credibility with the senior stakeholders in the clients organization to ensure Makemytrip and Goibibo are the brands of choice in the travel and online space.
• Own the annual investment charter for a set of accounts in the form of discount budgets, to drive growth marketing campaigns across various categories (Flights/Hotels/Bus/Cab/Holidays/Tours & Attractions etc.) basis the business needs and organizations focus areas.
• Own the charter for the co brand credit card including driving acquisition, spends and activations.
• Understand partners business model and product suite to launch new co-branded campaigns, offerings and products to drive more value for the end customer.
• Lead with insights and analytics to create and execute strategy and define required business outputs/deliverables/performance metrics for every engagement.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders across revenue, product, content, creative, marketing, PR, legal and finance teams, for successful ideation and execution of campaigns and engagement.
• Negotiate required commercials and agreements with the partners.
  

Qualification & Experience

• Postgraduate from a reputed institute with prior work experience of 5+ years in alliances & partnerships or any other client facing role in financial services industry is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, along with an intermediate understanding of SQL and databases.
• Confidence in engaging and managing senior stakeholders at partner organisations.
