Job Description
- As a Station Security Coordinator at [Company Name], your main role is to ensure the safety and security of passengers, staff, aircraft, and airport premises. You will be responsible for conducting security checks, surveillance, and enforcing regulatory requirements to uphold national and international aviation security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening and Monitoring:
- Conduct security screening of passengers, staff, baggage, cargo, and mail.
- Monitor access control points to restrict unauthorized access.
- Operate screening equipment such as X-ray machines, ETDs, and metal detectors.
- Access Control:
- Verify identity documents and access permits of personnel entering secure areas.
- Ensure compliance with airport security protocols and report violations.
- Incident Management:
- Respond quickly to security breaches and emergencies.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare accurate security reports, logs, and incident records.
- Report suspicious activities, security breaches, and equipment malfunctions.
- Training and Compliance:
- Attend regular AVSEC training programs and drills.
- Stay updated on the latest security procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Service:
- Provide courteous assistance to passengers and visitors while maintaining security vigilance.
- Handle passenger queries and resolve security-related concerns.
- Conducting Audit and Inspection:
- Conduct audit, inspection, and security tests at the station.

- Assist in preparing compliance and audit reports for regulatory bodies.
- Revision of Manual and Security Programme:
- Upgrade and revise aviation manuals and security programs.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities for safety and security approvals.
Qualifications & Working Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Security Management or related field.
- Must possess valid AVSEC Certification approved by BCAS.
- Screener Certification (if handling X-ray machines) is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant working experience or Diploma with 5 years of experience.
