Job Description

You will be joining MAN Energy Solutions, a company dedicated to helping its customers achieve sustainable value creation as we transition towards a carbon-neutral future. Our global presence spans over 120 sites, employing around 15,000 individuals worldwide.

Your responsibilities will include understanding input documents necessary for the preparation of I&C deliverables using Plant Engineering software like COMOS. You will be tasked with selecting instrumentation arrangements based on customer order requirements for turbomachinery systems, adhering to applicable customer specifications, area classes, and international regulations such as ANSI, IEC, IS, API, and European standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing various instrumentation documents including P&ID, Instrument List & Specifications, I/O list, Alarm & Trip, Signal List, Hook-up Drawings, Installation Material Lists for Field Instrumentation, Cable tray drawings, and supporting structures.
Furthermore, you will be involved in creating output documents like JB & Cable Schedule, Interconnection Wiring Schedules, Loop Diagrams, Control Logic Diagram, JB & Instrument Rack Layouts, and Field Junction Box Lay-Out Drawings. Your role will also entail reviewing supplier documents and providing technical clearance to the procurement team.

To excel in this position, you should possess 3-4 years of experience in turbomachinery - Instrumentation engineering and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent. Proficiency in COMOS is a mandatory requirement, along with basic experience in turbomachinery components and knowledge of sizing and selecting Field Instruments. Familiarity with creating and reviewing Instrumentation deliverables, basic knowledge of PLC/DCS & Control Panel Design, and a good understanding of client/consultant specifications, codes, and standards are essential. Exposure to working in ERP Software will be advantageous.
