Job Description
- The ideal candidate for this position should have a proven track record in effective teaching and supporting students in achieving success. While prior experience in teaching the IB Middle Years and Diploma programmes is desirable, exceptional teachers from any educational background are welcome to apply. It is essential for the candidate to be aligned with the IB philosophy and demonstrate a strong commitment to the Learner Profile values. A genuine enthusiasm for working in a non-selective and culturally diverse community is a fundamental requirement for this role.
In addition, the candidate must have the following qualifications and attributes:
- Hold a certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B. Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent specialization in Humanities or Global Politics.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Upper High School/Secondary Humanities/Global Politics, preferably within an IB curriculum school.
- Be available starting from April 2025.
- Demonstrate the experience, personality, and educational philosophy necessary to advance the education agenda of this prestigious Manchester International school that caters to students.
- Exhibit a strong desire to deliver exceptional teaching and facilitate impactful learning experiences.
