About the Role

As a Senior AI Engineer / Data Engineer, we are seeking a skilled LLM Application Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for implementing large language model (LLM)-based applications, working with both proprietary and open-source models, and utilizing popular frameworks to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build standalone applications that interact with LLM models.
• Develop RAG-based applications.
• Work with vector databases like Solr for LLM-based solutions.
• Preprocess and manage data for training and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Document development processes, code, and APIs.
• Design, prototype, implement, deploy, and maintain features for NLP or AI-related projects.

Requirements

Education: B.Tech in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience as a team member or mentor in a mid-to-large technical company.
• Proven experience in building customer-facing ML-based APIs.
• Experience in developing applications scalable to handle terabytes of data.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of API integration (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Experience with data preprocessing, SQL, and NoSQL databases, as well as vector stores (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, Solr, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, etc.).

Get Hired
• Familiarity with deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and CloudFormation templates (highly preferred).
• Proficiency in Python, and optionally at least one other programming language such as Flask, Django, FastAPI, Golang, Java, or SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Redis, Docker, K8S, and Azure.

Big Data & Cloud:

• Experience with Spark/Hadoop, EMR, or other Big Data technologies (a plus).
• Certifications in machine learning, data science, or cloud computing (preferred).

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of software architecture design, application scaling, performance, and security.
• Portfolio showcasing past projects or contributions to open-source projects.
