Job Description
Total Experience: 5 - 10 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Taxation.
- Knowledge in the GST regime is a must i.e., familiarity with the Law and its compliance.
- IT competence: Advanced working knowledge of SAP and MS Office tools.
- Team Management Skills: The indirect tax team consists of 6 Junior Members.
- Monthly GST payment and filing of various relevant returns.
- Handling PAN India GST audits/ assessments/ notices.
- Filing and obtaining the refund under various scenarios (Inverted Duty / Export etc).
- Understanding of the concept of ISD and ensure compliance.
- Input Tax Credit Optimization.
- Ensure all the above for Subsidiaries.
- Driving process improvements / automation.
- Identify & implement optimization opportunities.
- Act as the IDT Centre of Excellence for other business functions for internal advisory.
- Co-ordination with consultants for expert advice and litigations.
- Obtain an understanding of Pre-GST open litigations and drive closure.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Experience in implementation under GST regime.
- Working knowledge of Pre-GST regime.
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Office tools.
- Inter personal communication skills.
- Team Management Skills.
