Vice President Investment Banking

• Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation assessments to support transaction execution and advisory services.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and other internal stakeholders, to ensure successful deal execution.
• Develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations.
• Preparation and review of materials used in the financing of clients, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks
• Perform all aspects of new investment/M A sourcing, due diligence, advising on deal structuring
• Work on a variety of equity financing (IPO, Follow-On, Private Placement, Growth Equity) domestic and cross-border M A transactions, strategic alliances and partnership arrangement
• Speaking with clients and handling deal process-related requests.

• Drive strategic agenda and deliverables across the team
• Analyze industry statistics and data for industry trends, competition and areas of opportunities
• Develop and enhance relationships with clients through a thorough understanding of their requirements and objectives
• Take an active role in developing, structuring and executing transactions
• Supervise and train analysts in terms of origination, assessment and documentation
• Lead and manage the execution of ECM and DCM transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, private placements, debt issuances, and structured finance transactions.
• Originate new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts, including pitching and presenting to potential clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree and above, preferably in business, finance, economics or related fields
• Should have 5-7 years of transaction execution experience in a boutique/mid-sized investment bank in India
• Should have worked on ECM and DCM transactions - private capital markets
• Transaction experience in the PE/VC industry in India is required

Role requires candidate to be based out of Delhi -NCR Strong understanding of the PE/VC industry in India, with demonstrated experience working on transactions within this space. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills, with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
