Job Description

    As a Management Position at Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa in Madikeri, Karnataka, India, you will be responsible for proactively soliciting and managing large group/catering related opportunities with significant revenue potential. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue by identifying, qualifying, and soliciting new group/catering business to achieve personal and property revenue goals. You will work closely with the group/catering counterpart to effectively manage business opportunities and maximize revenue through strategic sales plans and actions.
    Your role will involve understanding market opportunities, targeting specific accounts, and up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue potential. You will be expected to develop relationships within the community to expand the customer base for group/catering sales opportunities. Additionally, you will handle complex business with significant revenue potential and customer expectations, providing exceptional customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    Collaboration with off-property sales channels and key internal and external stakeholders is crucial for success in this role. You will utilize your negotiation skills and creative selling abilities to close business deals and negotiate contracts. Conducting site inspections, creating contracts, and supporting the operational aspects of business booked will also be part of your responsibilities.
