Job Description

As an Executive in Risk Management and Surveillance at Marwadi Shares and Finance Limited, your primary responsibility will be to manage and analyze the risk and surveillance of internet-based trading (IBT) clients. You will be based at the IT headquarters in Rajkot and report to the internet-based trading head and risk management head on a daily basis.

To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in broking and financial institutions, specifically in dealing and risk management. A BBA or B Com graduate qualification is required, along with a NISM certification which is desirable. Your tasks will include tracking existing risk positions, managing auto square-off terminals, and responding to queries from branches, sub-brokers, or clients regarding risk exposure.
Your ability to recommend and implement ways to control or reduce risks, report abnormal trading activities regularly, and prepare daily MIS and client risk reports will be crucial. Proficiency in understanding regulatory circulars related to risk management and familiarity with software like ODIN, Omnesys, and Rupeeseed will be advantageous. Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and accuracy in tasks are essential for this role.

Ideally, you should possess a good understanding of the Indian stock market, margin systems in F & O, and have the capability to connect effectively with branches and vendors. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software is also required. Your personality traits should include being careful, diligent, efficient, and organized both in physical and digital workspaces. Additionally, you should exhibit modest confidence, personability, good humor, and trustworthiness while maintaining professionalism and respecting traditional courtesy.
