Estimation Engineer

Job Title: Estimation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals while ensuring alignment with technical specifications and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on technical documents, such as Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and load lists.

- Engage with customers to discuss and clarify technical details.

- Develop and submit comprehensive technical and commercial proposals.

- Provide regular follow-ups and status updates for inquiries after submitting offers.

- Ensure accuracy in project and panel budget estimations, including labor, overhead, and margins.

Key Competencies:

- Expertise in electrical systems, including Low Tension (LT) Panels, High Tension (HT) Panels, Switchgear, and Relays.

- Strong knowledge of costing, tender management, and BOQ preparation.

- Proficiency in technical documentation and commercial negotiations.

- Experience with control panel systems and estimation processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience in estimation, costing, and tender management within the electrical or panel manufacturing industry.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers and stakeholders.
