Lead Data Analyst - Remote

Role Overview
Data analyst who can discover insights, build data stories, define KPIs and he conduct adhoc analysis on any out of pattern metrics. Should be able to communicate with ELT and other key stakeholders. This is a critical function and aligned to the vision of the group as we build key metrics for the organization.
This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About The Role

• You will need to discover data insights and present it to the product, Leadership and business teams.


• You will be responsible to understand the underlying data of our Consumer segment and work with product, business analysts and business teams to arrive at the reporting dashboards and KPIs. You will be responsible to build key metrics from data on the cloud or on prem working with world class tools such as Tableau and MicroStrategy


• You will build data stories to communicate the analysis with excellent visualizations using Tableau.


• You will need to continuously monitor key metrics and KPIs, publish out newsletters, ELT Read outs with data insights


• You will need to be proficient in SQL to mine the data to build the necessary required KPIs, metrics, dashboards etc. You may need to work on synthesizing and preparing the data to suit the visuals.


• You will need to understand the requirements from the stake holders, translate them into technical requirements, understand the underlying data and build upon aggregates as required. Further, build out powerful visuals which tell the business story.
  

About You

• You have proven experience working as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst proficient in telling business stories with data.


• Proven Experience with statistics and data analytics.


• You should be passionate about data and the growing developments in this field


• You background includes 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst and demonstrate experience which includes important and critical responsibilities as a data insight professional


• You should be very proficient with SQL.


• Your programming experience includes expertise in visualization tools like Tableau or MicroStrategy


• You may need to leverage data science algorithms or statistical models


• You should have effective written and oral communication.


• You should be ready to work with global teams
