Job responsibilities of HVAC Engineer

Designing HVAC systems that meet the heating and cooling requirements of a building or industrial application, while also ensuring energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and environmental sustainability.

Selecting and sizing HVAC equipment, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and ductwork, based on building or application requirements and energy efficiency standards.

Preparing detailed HVAC system specifications, drawings, and project schedules, and ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Overseeing the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring that they are installed correctly, and that all safety and quality standards are met.

Conducting tests and inspections of HVAC systems to identify and diagnose any issues or malfunctions and developing solutions to rectify them.

Providing technical support to customers, answering their questions and resolving any issues they may have.

Qualifications/ Education

Masters / bachelor&aposs degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering, as well as experience in designing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems.

Experience

Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in the related field.

Key Skills and Knowledge

Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
