Job Description
- As a Remote Customer Service Agent at MCI, a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, you will play a crucial role in supporting customer service initiatives for a diverse portfolio of well-known clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service. In this full-time role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently, aiming to resolve customer issues on the first call through effective problem-solving. You will be required to research and retrieve information across systems to support customer needs, accurately document interactions, and guide customers towards optimal solutions. Adherence to scripts, policies, and procedures while maintaining customer privacy and handling sensitive information appropriately is crucial. Additionally, you will be expected to escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members, stay updated with training and program knowledge, and consistently meet scheduling requirements.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have prior call center experience and reside within 80km of the office. Other requirements include a high-speed internet connection, an appropriate work environment, and proficiency in English. Applicants should be 18 years or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate previous work-from-home experience. Strong command of the English language, a typing speed of 20+ WPM, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office are also necessary qualifications. Familiarity with Windows operating systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to multitask effectively are desired attributes. Excellent interpersonal skills and a dedication to self-management are key qualities for success in this role.
