Job Description
What role you will play in team: You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of internal software tools used by McKinsey consultants globally. You will work alongside senior engineers on diverse projects.
What you will do: You will participate in the full software development life cycle, from designing and developing features to testing and deployment. You will gain experience in agile methodologies and various technologies.
Key responsibility:
- Develop and maintain internal software tools using various technologies (e.g., Python, Java, React)
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Conduct unit testing and contribute to code reviews
- Work with senior engineers to design and implement new features
- Contribute to improving development processes
- Learn and apply agile methodologies
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Interest in working in a consulting environment
