Job Description

The role of the Principal Software Engineer requires an extensive background in Software Development, particularly in Java and ideally with Angular as well. You should have experience with security, performance, and scalability of applications. Additionally, you should be familiar with or have a strong interest in Operations and DevOps, as you will collaborate with teams bridging the gap between Delivery, DevOps, and Architecture. Your role will involve communicating with various stakeholders and leading initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and engineer effectiveness.

You will be responsible for offering technical support and guidance to the development team, ensuring the adoption of best practices, sound architectural choices, and code excellence. Crafting clean, effective, and sustainable code that aligns with industry-standard coding practices is crucial. Collaboration with diverse teams to understand system elements, interdependencies, and implementation requirements is essential. Conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, identify enhancement opportunities, and mentor team members will also be part of your responsibilities.
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will need to tackle complex technical challenges and performance issues by presenting innovative solutions. Rapidly troubleshooting and resolving production issues to prevent service disruptions is critical. Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software and driving projects through all phases from conception to implementation, testing, documentation, and training are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will lead initiatives for continuous improvement to optimize development processes, enhance software quality, and improve team efficiency.

To excel in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience demonstrating strong Java development skills and robust logical and analytical capabilities. Full Stack Development expertise with hands-on involvement in the professional journey is required. Prior experience or a keen interest in DevOps and Operations is beneficial. You should possess a deep understanding of application design, architectural best practices, and design patterns. Proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot framework deployment, along with ORM frameworks like Hibernate, is essential.
Excellent communication skills in English are necessary for clarifying requirements, following up on initiatives, and conducting support and training sessions. Strong SQL skills, including query performance tuning knowledge, are valuable. Experience in crafting JUnit test cases, technical leadership, agile software development methodologies, Restful APIs, and development standards is crucial. Familiarity with the Angular framework and Liquibase would be advantageous to your profile.,
