Job Description
- You will be joining the team at Medblocks as a Webmaster / Web Developer based in JP Nagar, Bangalore. At Medblocks, we focus on developing healthcare technology for developers using open standards such as openEHR, FHIR, and SNOMED CT.
Your primary responsibilities will include building and maintaining our website using technologies like SvelteKit, JavaScript, HTML, and Tailwind CSS. It will be crucial to ensure that the website is SEO-friendly, fast, and optimized for user experience. You will work with analytics tools like Posthog and Umami to analyze user behavior and enhance site performance. Additionally, integrating third-party APIs, managing CMS-based websites, and ensuring site security, mobile-friendliness, and scalability will be part of your role. You will also handle PostgreSQL database operations, write GraphQL queries, and collaborate with the marketing and design team to improve UI/UX. Troubleshooting and resolving any website issues that arise will also be a key responsibility.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in full-stack JavaScript development and be proficient in SvelteKit, Tailwind CSS, and other modern web technologies. A strong understanding of SEO, website performance optimization, third-party API integrations, PostgreSQL, and CMS-based web development is essential. A problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous learning are qualities we are looking for in potential candidates.
