About the Team

? AdExchange is responsible for a highly scalable, distributed digital ad marketplace that processes billions of transactions per day.

? The system operates with low latency, handling millions of requests per second across multiple data centers globally.

? The team manages substantial revenue (hundreds of millions of dollars) from ads and is growing rapidly, year over year.

Responsibilities (What Youll Do)

? Design and Development: Build and optimize a global-scale digital ads marketplace system for performance, speed, efficiency, and reliability.

? Distributed Systems: Work on complex systems that require making real-time decisions with sub-millisecond latency.

? Infrastructure Management: Help maintain infrastructure that supports a large fleet of servers (3000+), as well as the underlying AdQuality systems.

? High-Volume Decision Making: Build systems that can process tens of millions of rules in real-time with sub-millisecond latency.

? Ownership: Take responsibility for product features, influencing design decisions at both high-level architecture and low-level components.

Who Should Apply

? Experience: 2-5 years of software development experience with a focus on large-scale systems.

? Technical Expertise:

-Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, OOP, design patterns, and data structures.

-Proficiency in Java with a track record of writing production-quality, bug-free code.

-Experience with high-volume, low-latency, and multi-threaded distributed systems.

-Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Redis, Aerospike).

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in large-scale system design and low-level optimization.
