Job Description

    As the Sales Leader for Distributor Appointment & Channel Development, your primary responsibility will be to identify, appoint, and nurture a strong network of distributors to drive sales and enhance market presence. Your role is crucial in expanding the company's reach by establishing efficient distribution partnerships, ensuring sales targets are achieved through effective territory planning, onboarding, and channel management.
    Your key responsibilities will include:
    - Identifying and evaluating potential distributors in target markets
    - Negotiating commercial terms, pricing structures, and agreements with distributors
    - Facilitating smooth onboarding, training, and integration of distributors into the sales ecosystem
    - Developing strategies for channel expansion and sales volume growth
    - Setting and monitoring sales targets for distributors and providing necessary support
    - Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
    - Planning territory coverage to maximize distribution effectiveness and sales
    - Maintaining strong relationships with distributors to ensure high engagement and loyalty
    - Ensuring compliance with company policies, credit terms, and brand guidelines by distributors
    - Providing accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the management

    - A Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA preferred
    - 6-10 years of sales experience with a focus on distributor/channel sales
    - A proven track record of appointing and managing distributors across territories
    - Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and analytical skills
    - Familiarity with CRM, ERP systems, and sales analytics tools
    - Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions
    Preferred skills include industry-specific experience (e.g., FMCG, pharma, consumer durables), knowledge of market distribution models, and exposure to working in high-growth or emerging markets.,
